BIPOC
As we all know in the LGBTQ+ community, homogeny is not reality. For so long though, we have represented the human experience in a uniform way as related to sexuality, gender, and, certainly, race.
If you're Black, indigenous, Hispanic, Latino, Asian or any Person of Color, you've likely experienced a lack of representation or spaces that feel inclusive. This often translates into services and campaigns built as one-size-fits-all when that's simply impossible. Equality is about more than embracing differences; normalizing representation and fairness should always be at the core of the LGBTQ+ movement.
On this page, find the organizations who are exclusively for or in their mission talk about their intersectional work with people who are BIPOC and LGBTQ+.
